Dr. Carole Brückler is Head of the Digital Health Technologies at the Ministry of Economy, developing economic policy and programmes to build an ecosystem in Luxembourg that is attractive for digital health companies for the growth and development in Luxembourg.
Prior to returning to Luxembourg, Carole built a competitive strategy consulting company for the pharmaceutical industry from a team of 15 in London to a global team of 80 people in 5 offices, leaving as COO and Head of Asia. Then she returned to London to join a European focused healthcare and pharmacy data analytics start-up to head commercial operations. She also worked at GlaxoSmithKline in preclinical respiratory research.
Carole serves as a board member of the Luxembourg Institute of Health, a leading translational research institute for biomedical research. She holds a PhD and a patent in chemical biology from the University of Edinburgh and a Masters in pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of York.
